Is Meloqis really an ad-free music app?+

Yes. Meloqis does not add banner ads, pop-ups, sponsored recommendations, or audio advertisements to its interface. External music providers can still have their own content, rules, and service terms.

Is Meloqis available now?+

Yes. The free Android development preview can be downloaded directly from the Meloqis website. It is debug-signed and intended for early testing.

Will the Now Capsule work on Android 13?+

Yes. It is specifically designed around Android’s overlay permission, with the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra as the first target device.

Does the capsule read other apps?+

No. It displays only Meloqis playback state and does not use notification access or an accessibility service.

Is Meloqis open source?+

Yes. Meloqis is a modified GPLv3 fork, and its source code, notices, and modification history are published on GitHub.
